Con Campbell: Red Abstract Study – Open Edition Print
Con Campbell was born in Gortin Bush, County Tyrone. As a young boy he and his family moved to Belfast during the Troubles. His early work reflected these violent images with a childlike sensitivity.
However his rural upbringing and love of nature and animals has manifested itself in a perceptive collection of studies.
Con has studied animal physiology throughout Ireland- this study coupled with acute observation and real feelings and empathy for the subject has created a wonderful and eclectic body of work.
Con’s first major work “Arkle and Pat Taaffe” was displayed in the Ulster Museum in 1972 and is now in the National Collection since then his work has proved popular with private collectors and galleries alike.

It’s perfectly normal to worry about an artwork in transit, but please let us put your mind at rest. All artwork is well packaged, fully insured against damages and requires a signature upon arrival.

We're pleased to offer free UK and Ireland delivery on all purchases over £99. For orders under £99, delivery will be £4.99. European Union Delivery
We're pleased to offer free EU delivery on all purchases over £99. For orders under £99, delivery will be £6.99. Items will be packed and shipped on the next working day after your order is placed. In most cases, you'll receive your delivery 5 to 7 days after purchase. All deliveries are sent recorded.
International Delivery
We're pleased to offer international delivery on all purchases over £99. For orders under £99, delivery will be calculated at the checkout. Items will be packed and shipped on the next working day after your order is placed. In most cases, you'll receive your delivery 7 to 10 days after purchase. All deliveries are sent recorded.
If your artwork is being delivered outside the EU you may be charged an import duty upon delivery at a rate set by your country of residence. Import duties are not included in the delivery costs.
Click & Collect
We are operating a free click-and-collect service from our warehouse. All orders placed will be available for collection on the next working day. Our warehouse is located at Unit 6 Duncrue Crescent, Belfast, County Antrim. BT3 9BW.
Artwork Received Damaged
Should you receive your artwork damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and send photos of the damages to sales@originalirishart.com. Please advise us if you would like a full refund, a replacement (if available) or a credit note.
In the event that your purchase arrives damaged we ask you keep the artwork and all packaging for a period of 30 days as some couriers will request inspection before a claim can be made.

In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with your artwork, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We offer a 14 day no quibble returns policy on all our artworks. All costs for returns are the customer responsibility.
Process for Returns
- Notify us within 14 days of delivery if you wish to return the artwork advising us if you would like a full refund (excluding delivery costs), a replacement (if available) or a credit note.
- Package the artwork securely.
- Attach the appropriate labels to the parcel and arrange a courier to deliver to our warehouse. Our warehouse is located at:
Unit 6 Duncrue Crescent, Belfast, County Antrim. BT3 9BW - As soon as the artwork is returned and inspected we will arrange either a replacement (if available), a full refund or a credit note.
Please Note
We cannot accept returns for commissioned artwork due to being custom-made to your specific requirements.
Artwork Received Damaged
All artwork returned should be well packaged and fully insured against damages. All costs for returns and insurance against damages are the customers responsibility. Should we receive your artwork damaged we will notify you within 24 hours. It will be the customers responsibility to make a claim to the courier company they have used.
